On Saturday afternoon your small group will be the invited guests of nationally known Maine artist, Eric Hopkins. Eric Hopkins’ gallery/studio is a pristine space, large enough to ride a bicycle in, hung with his brilliant, sophisticated paintings of Maine islands. Eric does ride his bicycle round and round, listening to music, while ‘thinking things through’. Besides being a nationally known and shown artist, Eric Hopkins is the genuine Downeast article. Eric grew up on the island of North Haven, and you don’t get much more Maine than that. A man of exuberant energy, Eric’s complex mix of humor and insight will keep you laughing and thinking during your up-close-and-personal visit.
