PLEIADES
is a classic wooden yacht built in 1936. She is 35 feet on deck
with a beam of 8-1/2 feet; full keel, sloop rig, and tiller
steering. She is wood throughout with a white hull, bright mahogany
rails, house, coamings, hatches and sitka spruce spars. Her
deck and cockpit are teak, and below there is teak and mahogany,
brass and bronze, with black locust cabin soles.
Her mast is 48 feet overall. It carries a forestay and a head
stay, running backstays and permanent backstay - a handsome
